A look inside: Luna's bedroom

Four daughters with 4 different tastes and therefore 4 different bedrooms. This small children's room belongs to Luna, our 3rd daughter. Luna loves nature: flowers and animals, collecting and daydreaming. When I saw the wallpaper 'Land of Roses' by Mrs Mighetto for the first time, I immediately fell in love and fortunately so did she. The wallpaper, together with the rattan headboard and the rattan chair, became the starting point for the styling of this room.

In terms of colours, we chose blush, lime green and mustard. A nice match with the wallpaper! We used a lot of natural materials: rattan (of course!), wool and linen. You can also find a lot of vintage items there. I love nothing more than browsing in second-hand shops, thrift shops and on Marktplaats. It's fun to renovate these treasures if necessary and then combine them with budget purchases. You can also find a lot of Instagram finds in this room. I like to buy from a small business, mostly women who combine motherhood with entrepreneurship. Items that have been made with extra love, you can always see that in the items!

Luna's room is small, and it only has one straight wall. There is a large built-in closet with old green steel louvered doors. At first we wanted to remove the closet to gain space, but at the last moment I changed my mind. The special doors create atmosphere!
Because the wallpaper is quite prominent, we kept the rest of the room white (RAL9010). The most important thing to me is that Luna, her sisters and her friends love the room. There is plenty to do: play with the dollhouse or the doll's crib, read a book in the beautiful chair or look at all the knick-knacks that are displayed. Moreover, you can hide well in the built-in closet. I hope our lady enjoys this space for a long time!
